I think that everyone should experience college to some degree. It is a good way to learn about who you are, what your strengths are and what you can improve on about yourself. I think it was put in place, not only as a business to make money but also so that "young folks" would have somewhere to go. An in-between period before they are just thrown into the "REAL WORLD."
This college life gives young people time to get their together. Of course, most that enter in college don't complete. And most that leave at the very end (graduate) don't necessarily have their shit together. But its like the big breath you take before you jump into a pool of deep water.
The real world isn't going to be friendly and have all these nice fixings of course. Some of us will graduate and run right into trouble.
