A Sad Story: Bullying

http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh0O7Uz7hNIcd2Ir76

This is a very sad story. This is not the only story like this, but I honestly believe that something should be done. My first question was, where were her parents, grandparents, friends etc when she was feeling sad? Where were the teachers? Did she try to talk to them?

I think this is a case of adults not paying attention to children in general more. The teachers were probably too busy trying to get their lesson plans for the next week in order. The mother was probably too busy trying to work two jobs. And everyone else probably told the little girl that she was being silly and to just "get over it" or "don't worry about it."

If she would have had just one person to listen to her, someone to help her. She would still be alive, because someone would have NOTICED, helped and told her that it was going to be okay and made sure that it was going to be okay.

This broke my heart when I heard this story because she was so young and had so much opportunity ahead of her. All she needed was one friend. Just one person to listen.

This whole bullying thing starts in the home. Its called home training and most children (especially nowadays because BABIES are raising babies) don't have any. Maybe the parents work two intense jobs and are too busy to take out a little bit of their time to make sure that their children respect the difference of other people. Maybe the parents are lazy. Maybe they don't have any positive role models.

The home environment is where is starts.

Then you get to school and you are suppose to be in a safe learning environment. The teachers, the staff, faculty etc are suppose to make sure that you have a safe place to learn. So where the teachers at when this young girl was getting picked on? Why didn't anyone step in to do something? On the other hand, maybe they did. Maybe they did write to the families of the children who were picking on this girl... but it wasn't enough.

A child should never feel like there is NO HOPE left. Like there is no one there to help them.

Anyway, a person can only pray for the family.
