New Alert! New Alert!

Advice
A key piece of advice that resonates with the owner is, "Success is not final, failure is not final, it’s the courage to continue that counts."

Audience & Mission:

The brand targets individuals who appreciate luxury streetwear with meaningful messages. Its mission is to inspire and uplift youth, showing them that they can overcome trauma and succeed.

The interviewee is an emerging fashion designer, musician, and creative from Chicago, IL. They are the CEO of Time Heals Open Trauma, a luxury streetwear brand launched in 2021. The brand promotes resilience and overcoming obstacles through fashion.

In middle school, the passion for fashion unraveled sparking a strong confidence that he would build his success with his own line. The brand has not participated in any fashion shows yet but is currently focused on pop-up shops and organic marketing.

The challenges are what make or break any brand, so naturally there will be a few such as: delayed packages and missed deadlines. But his determination, professionalism and persistence are what creates a safe, healthy, rapport with his client base enough for them to see that he is serious about his brand. The clients not only praise the brands' message and high-quality products but also the exceptional customer experience.

The vision to be a designer in a high esteemed show requires models that are professional and who are serious about honing their craft and skills. The owner dreams of hosting a show at NYC Fashion Week, combining fashion with live music, featuring a performer like Coi Leray as a showstopper.

We all dream of collaborating with our favorite singers, models, and actors at some point in our life. So, it is no surprise that the owner would love to style Rihanna, Coi Leray, and Teshki, as they align with the brand's aesthetic of mixing sexy and classy looks.

Pierre Fleming: A Hidden R & B Legend

Vibe Highlights

“I feel like R&B is making its comeback I’m just waiting on the big re-entry so to speak.”

He had one feature on the EP which was whine one time ft Alex flow

Best advice someone ever gave him:

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

You may not have known but NC has many amazing talents and this singer/ songwriter and or Artist: Pierre Fleming, who was born and raised in Wilson NC is one of the hidden Legends. He is highly devoted to music, and he shares a passion for video production & photography.

His current single is called SHOW ME which was released in 2021 along with his EP entitled Seven Vibes. The inspiration that motivated him to create the pair was based on past experiences. He witnessed relatable perspectives through the eyes of others and wanted to vibe along with topics that would captivate his audience.

He always had the ability to sing yet at the age of 18 he started writing his own songs because he didn’t know of any dedicated songwriters. In the beginning of his career, he started with many local indie concerts. He even won a first-place award in a local competition in 2014. He stayed inspired by all the prominent singers of that time; MJ, R Kelly, Usher, Tyrese, Joe just to name a few and each Artist had a different element that he liked, which shows in his music today.

We listen to Artist collaborations every day. The Artists go on tour, end up on billboards, and magazines together. So Wait! Wait! before you continue reading go check out one of Pierre Flemings' songs then close your eyes just for a minuet and imagine reading a flyer with the names: Pierre Fleming and H.E.R ( 5 time grammy winner) on the cover. The harmonies are undeniable and with such a smooth connected sound and relatable lyrics from both parties there is no other choice but to sit back and listen.

An Artist collaboration is just one door. There are many unique opportunities for him to be successful. We will hear more songs, see more music videos and live performances. He also wants to eventually start his own label and sign his own artists. You never know you could be the next big thing to blow up on his label, so keep your ear to the streets!

The Twins Organic Vibe

#Twins #OrganicVibe

“America loves twins especially handsome ones like us lol”

 Best Advice

Their grandfather:
"Stay focused and stay together..."

The identical twin Artists’ aka Karolina Pride and Benny Broadway from Fuquay Varina NC bring a new flame of energy to the music scene! They have performed from NC to Alabama. The blogs, venues and the radio stations are in such an uproar over them!

They definitely have music in their bones but also, Pride actually attended the art institute of Atlanta for audio production and music business and he’s been doing music his whole life starting early in their grandfathers’ church playing the drums.

When it comes to the music industry it’s best to be as versatile as one can be; they like to consider themselves “a jack of all trades.” They were able to create their own sound to include rapping and singing. The best part is they bring passionate energy like during all performances.

Since they’re twins’ they have shared just about everything from a sandwich to their mothers’ womb lol Their first studio experience was fun but a learning process for both of them. The challenge? They had to adapt to the studio, the technical and professional environment throughout the entire creative music process.

One of the truths behind idea making it in the music business is to find motivation and inspiration. In reflection Pride shares that he got his inspiration from writing poetry early in his life and learned to find lyrics to fit his own personality and style. He then passed those same skills to Broadway to empower him during his battling rapping and writing songs.

In most cases Artists have a few favs or a favorite on their albums. Prides’ favorite song on their current album has to be: Slayed lol because it’s just a “well rounded track full of energy Swagga and personality” shares Pride with a quirky smirk and confidence. But on the other hand Broadways’ favorite track is Scorned because of the pain he felt while making the song.

Now when it comes to performing they have a good attitude about it. They could have a crowd of 5,000 or 5 people in the audience either way they still make the most of the experience and have fun! In a thoughtful reflection they share their most memorable stage moment was performing at Kick Fest at the Red Hat Amphitheater. It was the biggest venue they have been in so far and the Artists on that bill were epic.

Congratulations to 1Uptwinz on getting their track: NU DRIP with Lvitto in a new NIKE basketball ad campaign. If you haven’t heard it check out a sample here:

ALSO They’re currently working on: 2 Different 2 and working on new visuals. So be on the look out for all new material from this dynamic twin power!

You can find them on any social media platform via @1uptwinz and you can find their music on any and all digital platforms.

Creative Freedom: Illezo (MATURA)

 Quotes to Love

“I’m not talking about getting 360 deals when I say I hate labels. I think when we call ourselves something specific, we run the risk of boxing ourselves into a category and limit our creative freedom.”

~On Titles in the Music Industry~

Can we turn it up for Royal Oak, Michigan?!!!!!!!

Yes, because with about 10 shows (or more) under his belt and a passion for versatility in styles and genres of Pop and Rap we see that he is running at full speed. Illezo stopped for a moment to share a little bit about his love for music and we are thankful! So, let’s check it out…

He comes from a creative and entrepreneurial family, but music was not something he was exposed to at a young age; neither of his parents played instruments or sang so music was a new route for both creative expression and business.

Many people listen to music to escape from their reality but then some listen so they can connect with other people. He has gotten more vulnerable in his music to really bring out his abilities. He really enjoys people and loves connecting through music and performance. He shares with full humility…”I want someone who has been looking at a puzzle piece of themselves for a long time to see that it’s a perfect fit in a more complete picture of who they are as a human and not a piece to hide or discard.”

He believes that his is strongest skill(s) definitely emerge in songwriting. He is intentional with his word choice and takes his time to make sure he’s saying things specifically in a way that conveys the message he intends for it to be heard in. He practices singing, but in his mind he will be there soon. He definitely considers himself an MC as well because his live shows are both his favorite and the most impactful parts of his career. In a moment of reflection with a smile he shares: “When you can connect with people in a room and create positive energy and experience, there isn’t a better feeling.”

His current project is called MATURA, and it’s really an exploration into more of the pop side of his music. He’s been working on singing and production more so it will show more of his versatility.

When it comes to writing music, that responsibility isn't just on Pat it’s also shared with his team. Since starting to compose more instrumentally, he’s worked with members of his team “much more talented than I am” says he.., to help him build out the best music he can. One day he will write all of the lyrics, then other days he makes the entire instrumental, but then again there are times when he writes the vocal melody, so there isn’t just one thing that he always does and the collaboration definitely makes for better Art.

When Pat was in high school, he had a very motivating English teacher by the name of Jason Jones who encouraged him to continue writing poetry. He enjoyed it as an outlet. He didn’t share much of his work, but he learned a lot about himself in the process. Which opened the door for him to become a band kid and his mom talked him into taking a course at the local community college at night where he learned more about video editing and some basic music production.

After putting a few songs together and falling in love with the process, he bought some equipment and started writing and recording with a few friends. He continued to work on music and moved more into working on his own individual journey. He found his voice and began collaborating with other incredible artists and meeting different creative people to work with has been one of the best parts of being involved with music. He really loves the whole process because there are no rules and you get to paint any picture you want on a canvas of silence.

When Artists create they have at least one song that they really were feeling during the process. Of course for Pat this song changes day to day, but his favorite song right now is from his upcoming project called: Autumn and he worked with Billy Famous to create it. Billy is an incredible creative force and he handled most of the production on the song. We work very well together and can grab the baton when one of us is stuck on a portion. He’s another member of the AGiLE SOCiETY family, which is the collective of brilliant Artists that he works with.

When you finally have an opportunity to step out on a stage in front of people that love and support your music it’s tough to tell which performances you really loved but Pat has vivid memories of every show he’s done. He did a show at Bleu Detroit where he met JR and from there really started taking music seriously. The crowd was incredible that night. He also did a show at PJ’s Lager House most recently and, again, his crowd always shows off for him. At the PJ’s show, he also had a full camera crew making him feel like a Rockstar. He also performed a few songs with Kobierich which were unforgettable. The energy at each show is something he is forever grateful for and he appreciates everyone always coming out and having a great time with him.

When challenges arise, there are many different ways to approach them, but with Pat he feels like every day has a new lesson to impact his career. It’s been a long journey so far and he’s loved every minute of it. One experience in particular that impacted him greatly was when he started performing live. It changed everything, from his approach to songwriting to his production. He writes now to account for crowd interaction, connection and engagement. He includes more builds and breaks in his productions as that creates a special type of energy that fans can really feel.

Most Artist don’t just sing or rap they also have other ventures. As a creator and someone who has grown up in a business-focused family of entrepreneurs, he is always up to something. He has a side project for design, social media, branding, PR and video content called the Nebulae Agency. He is also working to build out a course with an incredible engineer Rudy Youmans through Studio 221B. He has a new idea every day so he tries his very best to stay focused on the things he’s doing. But, he’s really a utility player on every team he’s on so if they need something to be successful, he learns what he needs to or he finds someone who is a good fit to fill the role.

ILLEZO Advice

If you have any interest in any medium of self-expression, do it. There is a very high chance you’re going to be awful when you first start. I know I was. But keep trying if you enjoy it. You’ll find that you continue to improve with each project you work on, and you’ll continue to surprise yourself with what you can create. Go out and do it. Trust in yourself and understand that using your personal taste as a guide will be what makes you unique.

Don’t get into it for the money. It’s fine to work to build a career and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t intend to make this a full time job, but I don’t create to get rich. I make music because I love doing it and I’m thankful every time I’m able to get paid for doing something I truly love.

Slim Kors: Current Album (Kors Baby)

Keep working on your craft

Trust the process

Have Faith..

There is no doubt that NC has the some of the heaviest hitters in the music game out right now most of them are rappers…BUT Slim Kors is a Singer and Lyricist from Raleigh NC and he grew up with a church foundation so, music has always been in his family.

He first became serious and more passionate about singing at the age of 21 when his grandfather passed away. It still took him some time to actually step in the studio at 26 years old.

Current Album Called: Kors Baby

The inspiration behind the project (which he wrote all his music) included reflections and memories of his life patterns interacting with his family and his relationship with his wife with also bits of his opinion about the current music scene.

It’s one thing to

establish yourself as an Artist but to synch and or vibe with another Artists’ who see, hear and feel the vision opens new doors. So, yes he has collaborated with a Artist that goes by Payne you can find the song “Magic Stick” on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music. He has two unreleased collabs with Ty Harriz  and is working on two other features with two other Artists. -We definitely look forward to hearing the next collabs!

Many Artists would say that all the songs that they have written are their favorite but for Slim the song “24 Hrs” is the one that kind of hits home. He goes on to share that “prior to that I had done my wife wrong, and so I felt like this song was the perfect way to express myself…”

That song was like the 3rd or 4th song he recorded, so his lyrics were kind of all over the place. He didn’t know entirely how to structure a song lyrically, but other than that the song is a hit in his eyes.

He’s had 19 Shows since the summer of 2020, when he first started recording music. His most memorable performance was the The First time he performed “New Jam Rock” at Rose Bar in Raleigh, NC

He did exceedingly great for his first time performing on an RNB level. He even got his wife involved and kept the crowd entertained.

Sometimes as an Artist certain situations trigger us, to the point of getting upset. A good example was when Kors got on stage to his thing and sing at a networking event and people started talking during his performance. (-well… that’s kinda rude geez).

Okay so we learned a little bit about Slim Kors... but not only is he a quality sound singer he can also sketch too!

His show on June 27th definitely perked up many ears to his sound. Also he is work on his EP, and a Video Shoot all while pushing content until his new release dates get closers. Stay tuned!

The Inspiration. The Hope: Mr. Everything

The idea and hope behind “Inspiration” is definitely needed during these difficult and trying times; so where would one look for that inspiration? (You may be wondering silently… )Well, I know a Man and his name is Roosevelt Conyers but his ring name is "Mr. Everything" Victor Andrews.

As a child, before he found wrestling he dabbled in track for awhile but once he became more disciplined and focused he discovered his true passion for and within professional wrestling. Wrestling? Yes! You read that correctly:

W-R-E-S-T-L-I-N-G

His eyes as a child grew wide eyed and full of wonder as his biggest inspiration and motivation: The Undertaker

stomped onto the scene with full confidence ready to twist and turn the arms and legs of his his next opponent(s). The noise! The cheers from the audience and fans aligned with the hard dark atmosphere of his character made for one bad ass moment that will never leave the hearts of true wrestling fans!

Mr. Everything has always admired The Undertaker and still does to this day. He admires the way he performs and his whole presence throughout his 30 year career has impressed him a great deal!

Mr. Everything still remains a humble guy even though he is knows he is the best of the best. So he chuckles when asked how many matches has he had so far but then replies: “I gotta throw a ball park figure of close to 2,000 matches in my 11 year career all over the US.” He goes on to shared that just about every match is memorable in their own way but at the very top of his list would have to be the tag match he had on WWE NXT against Heavy Machinery.

In order to be as successful as he is in the wrestling world he has to have some support and that support comes from his family. His mother, naturally loves and encourages his passion for wrestling! She tells him all the time to keep pushing forward and never let anyone stop him from getting where he wants to be (And all your fans, followers... agree! Keep going you got this!)

Now, when you have a desire to accomplish a goal, sometimes you have to make sacrifices. The two things he didn’t know before he started taking wrestling seriously was #1: the amount of time it would take him away from his family. #2: the long hours on the road and constant traveling it takes to be successful. Those two things alone keep him away from home a lot. As an added bonus he also wasn't aware he’d love wrestling as much as he does nor did know he would be given the opportunities he’s received from it so far.

HE is not only a wrestler but he is also an exceptional Father.

So, as a wrestler he as to be coachable, open to suggestions and criticism. Yet, as a father he has to be available, flexible, open to change, as well as being able to teach his son and learn as he goes.

So, I'm getting some pretty awesome vibes and I'm totally feeling like he has a bright and promising future, what about you? Oh by the way his major goal and ultimate plan is to utilize his connections to get a tryout with a major company so he can get signed!

He is determined to make it happen this year! Of course, right now due to Covid restrictions keeping wrestling events very limited he’s been working on some acting and modeling projects too.

He’s also got a couple of writing projects and a TV series he’s working on that's due to be shown soon that will be done and released by the summer which is all very exciting and we can’t wait to see what he brings us next!

I know you want more! So don't hesitate! So show some love on his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. You never know he just might respond with a "Thank you." Oh, and don't forget to catch my vibe!

ICONIC BOND: We Here Now (And More)

Welcomes with the Greatest Appreciation

Iconic Bond

https://www.theiconicbond.com/

Originally from Cairo, Egypt

Raised in the states since he was 4

He moved around a lot but finally made his way to NC. He lived in Winston-Salem and went to school at WSSU. Then after college he moved to Raleigh, NC.

He’s done 7 shows since he started. He’s headlined 3 of them.

His most memorable stage performance and best show would be his very 1st headliner show.

Iconic energy and stamina allow him to electrify at performances. He considers himself an MC because he can move a crowd and vibe with them when he’s on and off stage. But he is also a lyricist because he takes time to think about what he’s writing. He’s always loved wordplay so it’s something he’s constantly working on to perfect.

He is currently in the works to kick off an amazing first album which could be out before the year ends! The album will be kind of like his origin story. How so? Well it would be a collaboration project with his best friend Badlogic who produced the whole thing; exciting!

He goes on to share “Me and him started on this music journey together,” “Literally one day he said “bro, I’m buying FL Studio” and I immediately went and bought a mic and created a little in-home studio and we began making music”" So this album is the compilation of the best songs they made together since they started.

He shares with a sarcastic smile: “Is there any other way to create music? I write everything I put out there. I think if you don’t write it, then what’s the point…”

As far as collaborations with other artists, he’s had one that has been made public so far (more to come soon…) and it was a song he featured on called Revolution that dropped earlier this year with the amazingly talented: Queen Sanaa.

The best advice he’s received: From his Manger before he went on stage for the first time was: “The stage is a boxing ring, when you step on that stage, your goal is knock them out”. The meaning behind this is basically to leave your heart and soul on that stage. You have to give it everything you got and perform the music with the same energy that helped you create it!

Iconic Bond continues in a gentle sentiment: “he also told me to stop trying to do everything alone. I love having control of everything I do so it was very hard for me to let go of certain things and allow other people to help me on my journey. It took me a while to get used it, but I finally got there.”

Music is the gateway to all types of possibilities. He’s have been writing ever since he was high school. He’s always had a love for poetry and music. Since originally coming from Egypt, the music scene is huge and it’s all very poetic and deep in meaning.

Hip-hop to him has constantly been the ultimate form of music if used correctly. It can change entire generations and it already has. On top of that, his favorite Artists are all amazing poets when it comes down to it. So that’s what inspired him to write.

The start was just the beginning but then he went to the next step in creating actual music with his youth group. He worked closely with a group of young brothers in the community. Then seeing them go from middle school to graduating college, he was able to see the impact that hip-hop had on them. Now in his opinion, he didn’t like the negative energy that it instilled in them and that is primarily due to what the current top Music being played was. See, he grew up listening to a whole different type of hip-hop so when he saw that, he felt the need to fill that void. On top of that, he was able to show them that they could also create music when they saw him do it.

His current favorite track written is one called: “Floating;” that song is on his first mix-tape entitled: The Breakthrough. Now, that track holds a special place in his heart because he was sitting up one night listening to this beat and instantly he was inspired to create a track about writing and creating a song. So he ended up literally spending the whole night until the sun came back up and wrote the thoughts that were going through his mind while creating it. When he was finished, it was the best feeling ever.

Each Artist can find inspiration and have a desire to work with a well-known Celebrity Artist in the music industry. The Artist that Iconic Bond would choose to work with if he could pick one would be: J Cole. He shares that J. Cole’s energy and ability to switch emotions track to track is amazing to him. On top of that, he thinks their music is similar in a way.

Why does his audience consider Iconic Bond different? Well because In the hip-hop game, he stands out because he is Egyptian (lol) and he’s cleaner in his lyrics than most rappers. Also, his music is easily adaptable to any person regardless of their background. He makes music that many types of people can enjoy, no matter what their race, ethnicity or beliefs are on the daily. He talks about life as it is, not as he wants it to be or as other people want it to be. He shares about real life situations from his eyes.

The future of his music is exciting. He is currently working on this collaboration album with his bestfriend: badlogic. He’s got another one already in the works, almost done with some amazing artists and producers. He’s hopeful that when the world opens back up he will begin touring a little bit outside of the local scene to spread his name around a bit.

His latest music video is called: We Here Now (https://youtu.be/6ViDSonmrgo).  He’s just ironing out some of his upcoming projects getting them ready for release. Also, he’s working on storyboards for the next couple singles so he can begin shooting the music videos.
