“I feel like R&B is making its
comeback I’m just waiting on the big re-entry so to speak.”
He had one feature on the EP which

Best advice someone ever gave him:
Don’t put all your eggs in one
basket.
You may not have known but NC has
many amazing talents and this singer/ songwriter and or Artist: Pierre Fleming,
who was born and raised in Wilson NC is one of the hidden Legends. He is highly
devoted to music, and he shares a passion for video production & photography.
His current single is called SHOW ME which
was released in 2021 along with his EP entitled Seven Vibes. The
inspiration that motivated him to create the pair was based on past experiences.
He witnessed relatable perspectives through the eyes of others and wanted to
vibe along with topics that would captivate his audience.
He always had the ability to sing yet at the age of 18 he
started writing his own songs because he didn’t know of any dedicated
songwriters. In the beginning of his career, he started with many local indie
concerts. He even won a first-place award in a local competition in 2014. He
stayed inspired by all the prominent singers of that time; MJ, R Kelly, Usher,
Tyrese, Joe just to name a few and each Artist had a different element that he
liked, which shows in his music today.
We listen to Artist collaborations every day. The Artists
go on tour, end up on billboards, and magazines together. So Wait! Wait! before you continue reading go check out one of Pierre Flemings' songs then close your eyes just for a minuet and imagine reading
a flyer with the names: Pierre Fleming and H.E.R ( 5 time grammy winner) on the
cover. The harmonies are undeniable and with such a smooth connected sound and relatable lyrics from both
parties there is no other choice but to sit back and listen.
An Artist collaboration is just one door. There are many unique opportunities
for him to be successful. We will hear more songs, see more music videos and
live performances. He also wants to eventually start his own label and sign his
own artists. You never know you could be the next big thing to blow up on
his label, so keep your ear to the streets!
“I’m not talking about getting 360 deals when I say I hate labels. I think when we call ourselves something specific, we run the risk of boxing ourselves into a category and limit our creative freedom.”
~On Titles in the Music Industry~
Can we turn it up for Royal Oak, Michigan?!!!!!!!
Yes, because with about 10 shows (or more) under his belt and a passion for versatility in styles and genres of Pop and Rap we see that he is running at full speed. Illezo stopped for a moment to share a little bit about his love for music and we are thankful! So, let’s check it out…
He comes from a creative and entrepreneurial family, but music was not something he was exposed to at a young age; neither of his parents played instruments or sang so music was a new route for both creative expression and business.
Many people listen to music to escape from their reality but then some listen so they can connect with other people. He has gotten more vulnerable in his music to really bring out his abilities. He really enjoys people and loves connecting through music and performance. He shares with full humility…”I want someone who has been looking at a puzzle piece of themselves for a long time to see that it’s a perfect fit in a more complete picture of who they are as a human and not a piece to hide or discard.”
He believes that his is strongest skill(s) definitely emerge in songwriting. He is intentional with his word choice and takes his time to make sure he’s saying things specifically in a way that conveys the message he intends for it to be heard in. He practices singing, but in his mind he will be there soon. He definitely considers himself an MC as well because his live shows are both his favorite and the most impactful parts of his career. In a moment of reflection with a smile he shares: “When you can connect with people in a room and create positive energy and experience, there isn’t a better feeling.”
His current project is called MATURA,and it’s really an exploration into more of the pop side of his music. He’s been working on singing and production more so it will show more of his versatility.
When it comes to writing music, that responsibility isn't just on Pat it’s also shared with his team. Since starting to compose more instrumentally, he’s worked with members of his team “much more talented than I am” says he.., to help him build out the best music he can. One day he will write all of the lyrics, then other days he makes the entire instrumental, but then again there are times when he writes the vocal melody, so there isn’t just one thing that he always does and the collaboration definitely makes for better Art.
When Pat was in high school, he had a very motivating English teacher by the name of Jason Jones who encouraged him to continue writing poetry. He enjoyed it as an outlet. He didn’t share much of his work, but he learned a lot about himself in the process. Which opened the door for him to become a band kid and his mom talked him into taking a course at the local community college at night where he learned more about video editing and some basic music production.
After putting a few songs together and falling in love with the process, he bought some equipment and started writing and recording with a few friends. He continued to work on music and moved more into working on his own individual journey. He found his voice and began collaborating with other incredible artists and meeting different creative people to work with has been one of the best parts of being involved with music. He really loves the whole process because there are no rules and you get to paint any picture you want on a canvas of silence.
When Artists create they have at least one song that they really were feeling during the process. Of course for Pat this song changes day to day, but his favorite song right now is from his upcoming project called: Autumnand he worked with Billy Famous to create it. Billy is an incredible creative force and he handled most of the production on the song. We work very well together and can grab the baton when one of us is stuck on a portion. He’s another member of the AGiLE SOCiETYfamily, which is the collective of brilliant Artists that he works with.
When you finally have an opportunity to step out on a stage in front of people that love and support your music it’s tough to tell which performances you really loved but Pat has vivid memories of every show he’s done. He did a show at Bleu Detroit where he met JR and from there really started taking music seriously. The crowd was incredible that night. He also did a show at PJ’s Lager House most recently and, again, his crowd always shows off for him. At the PJ’s show, he also had a full camera crew making him feel like a Rockstar. He also performed a few songs with Kobierich which were unforgettable. The energy at each show is something he is forever grateful for and he appreciates everyone always coming out and having a great time with him.
When challenges arise, there are many different ways to approach them, but with Pat he feels like every day has a new lesson to impact his career. It’s been a long journey so far and he’s loved every minute of it. One experience in particular that impacted him greatly was when he started performing live. It changed everything, from his approach to songwriting to his production. He writes now to account for crowd interaction, connection and engagement. He includes more builds and breaks in his productions as that creates a special type of energy that fans can really feel.
Most Artist don’t just sing or rap they also have other ventures. As a creator and someone who has grown up in a business-focused family of entrepreneurs, he is always up to something. He has a side project for design, social media, branding, PR and video content called the Nebulae Agency. He is also working to build out a course with an incredible engineer Rudy Youmans through Studio 221B. He has a new idea every day so he tries his very best to stay focused on the things he’s doing. But, he’s really a utility player on every team he’s on so if they need something to be successful, he learns what he needs to or he finds someone who is a good fit to fill the role.
ILLEZO Advice
If you have any interest in any medium of self-expression, do it. There is a very high chance you’re going to be awful when you first start. I know I was. But keep trying if you enjoy it. You’ll find that you continue to improve with each project you work on, and you’ll continue to surprise yourself with what you can create. Go out and do it. Trust in yourself and understand that using your personal taste as a guide will be what makes you unique.
Don’t get into it for the money. It’s fine to work to build a career and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t intend to make this a full time job, but I don’t create to get rich. I make music because I love doing it and I’m thankful every time I’m able to get paid for doing something I truly love.

There is no
doubt that NC has the some of the heaviest hitters in the music game out right
now most of them are rappers…BUT Slim Kors is a Singer and Lyricist from
Raleigh NC and he grew up with a church foundation so, music has always been in
his family.
He first became
serious and more passionate about singing at the age of 21 when his grandfather
passed away. It still took him some time to actually step in the studio at 26
years old.
Current Album Called: Kors Baby
The
inspiration behind the project (which he wrote all his music) included
reflections and memories of his life patterns interacting with his family and his
relationship with his wife with also bits of his opinion about the current
music scene.
It’s one
thing to
establish yourself as an Artist but to synch and or vibe with another
Artists’ who see, hear and feel the vision opens new doors. So, yes he has
collaborated with a Artist that goes by Payne you can find the song “Magic
Stick” on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music. He has two unreleased collabs with
Ty Harriz and is working on two other features
with two other Artists. -We definitely look forward to hearing the next
collabs!
Many
Artists would say that all the songs that they have written are their favorite
but for Slim the song “24 Hrs” is the one that kind of hits home. He
goes on to share that “prior to that I had done my wife wrong, and so I felt
like this song was the perfect way to express myself…”
That song was like the
3rd or 4th song he recorded, so his lyrics were kind of all over the place. He
didn’t know entirely how to structure a song lyrically, but other than that the
song is a hit in his eyes.
He’s had 19
Shows since the summer of 2020, when he first started recording music. His most
memorable performance was the The First time he performed “New Jam Rock” at
Rose Bar in Raleigh, NC
He did exceedingly great for his first time performing on an RNB
level. He even got his wife involved and kept the crowd entertained.
Sometimes as an Artist certain situations trigger us, to the point of getting
upset. A good example was when Kors got on stage to his thing and sing at a
networking event and people started talking during his performance. (-well…
that’s kinda rude geez).
Okay so we learned a little bit about Slim Kors... but not only is he a quality sound singer he can also sketch too!
His show on
June 27th definitely perked up many ears to his sound. Also he is
work on his EP, and a Video Shoot all while pushing content until his new
release dates get closers. Stay tuned!

exact. He believes himself to be an MC because with his skill and style he can
control the crowd.
His most recent EP
was called: Tuscaroran Legend. So what is it about? So, Tuscarora is a Native
American Tribe from Eastern NC. He wanted to embrace his roots, so that’s where
the name came from and you can tell its Native American Inspired by the sound.
He was always into
music since he was a kid. .He shares that he was that kid dancing in the middle
of the floor at the family functions and his Grandmother also played the piano.

He’s had around 75

priceless. They danced and partied so hard it felt like they were going to fall
through the floor!

Thor Angelico is currently living in Nevada but was born in Rochester, NY. He's been writing poetry for 21 years and considers himself to be more of a Lyricist.
He’s always had a passion for music! He grew up listening to all kinds of rock and heavy metal. His love for music grew from first hearing: Linkin Park. At the time He didn't really know what rap was until then and hearing them opened a whole new world for him!
In sharing his creativity he wanted to make
music that had a bigger message collectively than just individual songs, so
when you go through and listen to the whole album: Stepping Stones, it will tell a vivid story. He writes all his own music and he’s had some
features he’s done for people, as well as he’s had other artists on his songs too.
Although he likes all of his songs, his most favorite single he created is called:Through the Forest because it captivates and tells a VIVID story full of twists about a metaphoric Spiritual Journey that is going on in his mind.
He’s only done a
handful of small shows up to this point. Yet, his most memorable stage performance was opening up for Statik G and Haystak last year. He will always remember that opportunity because it motivated and propelled him into a whole new excitement for music. He is more than happy to get booked for more live shows and performances. But he really wants to make a living
off of his streams. That's his main focus!
There is always at least a handful of main stream well known Celebrities that inspire other Artists to create and the Artist that motivates Thor Angelico to create his music is the: Rap Artist and Lyricist: NF. https://www.nfrealmusic.com He has listened to his music more than anyone
lately. He likes the fact that NF has a very similar message to his and is a voice
for those who are voiceless.
He believes that's why his music is so popular.
The ability to stand out from other Artists is very important. The life that he’s
lived could be no one else's and he’s overcome a lot of mental health problems
without being on medications. So there is room for him to speak on his experiences and how possible it is
to beat these things as depression and anxiety etc. He’s not perfect but his progress speaks for itself. Yet, still he wouldn't want to tell us where he was 5 years ago compared to now.
There is so much more greatness for this Artist. He’s focusing mainly
on continuing to build his fan base. He believes that the future holds endless
possibilities. Many people tell him how unique and inspiring his
messages are and he feels like he’s starting to make an actual impact. Music is
his life, he’ll never stop.

Many Artists start off with a vigor and power but they have to work at it, yet the music has always been second nature to R.O. Hutch! Raleigh stand up! Make some noise for one of our own Hutch aka: R.O Hutch! (Put some respect on that name!) His ability to speak on complex topics and lessons makes his music more relatable to the common person! The rap, poetry, songs, and writing music is a way calm the chaos in the life lessons he learns and provides opportunity for him to connect with larger audiences!
He considers
himself to be a unique blend of both MC and Lyricist. He takes pride in his
ability to control a crowd as an Emcee, but he knows without a doubt he’s
definitely a lyricist too. The name of his current album is called: The Show EP. He was
inspired to create this album because of the need to SHOW why he feels he’s the
top of the brass in terms of his talent and ability as an artist.
He writes all his own music but he’s not against brainstorming ideas
with other Creatives or having choruses done by other artists. Oh
yeah! like that one time he worked with one other Artist on this EP, her name is Egypt. She
actually did some writing on a record called: (On & On). Check it out! It's fire!
His passion for writing songs came with making music the need to express himself. He was inspired by both his father and his older cousin: Black Jeruz. Now, he’s performed at many different venues where some crowds were
larger than others but he most remembers performing for a large crowd that
actually were fans of music, so his music although new, was received with warm regards and acceptance.
If
he could perform with any Artist he would perform with Charlotte NC’s own
DaBaby. He admires the energy he brings to all his stage shows. He believes
that he could learn a lot from a Creative Mind and Brilliant entertainer and
Rap Artist act such as DaBaby.
There is so much to learn about this Artist! This was only a teaser to all the excellence he brings to the table. So, one EP is not enough. He is releasing more music! His plan is to
release an EP every 3-4 months and also release visuals to all songs on these
projects.
So, Contact and check out his bran-related material at:
James “Mistajay” Genwright II majored in Business administration. But he wasn’t sure which direction to take his degree in but somehow his heart was strongly interested in: the Music.
In the creation of making dreams
come true, he and his team went through several different incarnations and
mangers to gain control over their direction in music as a group. So his Inspiration
to start NCC Records: North Carolina Commissioned Records was born from that
desire but that was just the beginning. Okay so, what is NCC Records? It is a
record and entertainment label that provides music services, writing features, sponsorship, promotion and distribution. The company is really aimed at
promoting the success of their communities by sponsoring Indy Artists in music
and film projects.
As the CEO of a very successful and
ever growing company the ability to lead in certain situations is a major key
component. It requires you to be a good listener willing to learn as well as
intelligently delegate and remain inquisitive while staying on top of the
newest trends in the industry. As we know life wouldn’t be as exciting without
a couple challenges. But they are met with diligence and professionalism. There
are times when decisions have to be made quickly, from deciding whether to keep
with the newest sound or go in a different direction to finding who to work and
network with that will be just as passionate about getting to the next level as
you.
There are a variety of ways to
create success and one of the things that this CEO would like to see more of is
content on the company website that reflects a diverse range of entertainment
endeavors. Which he hopes will lead to eventually working with heavy hitters
like the multi-faceted Ice Cube and Kathy Hughes who started in radio with
music and turned her vision into an entertainment empire.
FUN FACT: Participated in the Indie Film game with a couple small acting roles!
ALL the way from Philadelphia, PA Terrell Moore considers himself to be an MC and a
very versatile Artist. His current album: The Freshman, was a goal of his
for a long time. He writes all his own music and has collaborated with several
different Artists and Musicians on his most recent album. On this current album
is favorite song is called: “Get High” he shares that he wrote the song because
the “Concept was so different and touching.”
His inspiration comes from a long line of diverse music backgrounds. He enjoys listening to Motown and gospel music. During his journey he listened to and watched Sisco: The Dragon and Usher. As it stands many Artists have Popular current Artists that they look up to, so that Artist for Mr. Moore is: Tory Lanez. He is a Canadian Rapper, Songwriter, Singer and Record Producer. He chose this Artist because from his sound and style this Artist is definitely a hybrid of R&B and Hip Hop.
Mr. Moore hasn’t performed at any major venues yet just a few small venues and open
mic’s. But his most memorable performance was when he performed in Wilmington, Delaware. He performed one song called: I GO which is on his current EP. The
setup was kinda unusual because the Artists that were supposed to perform on the song
weren’t there so he had to get his Artist friend Queen Mesh to help him perform
the song. The audience was still very supportive!
Terrell Moore is constantly working on
the next phase of his Music Career! So much goes into getting his music out
there so while he is promoting and performing songs from his current album he
is also excited about the creation and release of his second EP very soon and
he’s looking forward to performing at bigger venues, hopefully this year!
