Abstract View of Music
Wizdom Anthony is from Newburgh, NY. But he was raised in Peekskill, NY. He currently resides in Troy, NY and has been living there for 16 years. He's been a musician ever since he could remember.
His influences and inspiration to be a musician came from his Grandmother and being apart of his church choir, playing the drums and piano. He's been a musician ever since he's been in the church. He attended Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh New York, and Peekskill high school in Peekskill New York.
His first performance was in a high school pep rally, and he had to sing the school song in front of the school. He remembers the feeling of success after and how they really liked his singing. It turned a light on inside him, a passion to keep giving people that same feeling they had in the stands with his singing.
Music and Collaborations
In all honesty he has lost track of the number of songs he has written whether they were for himself or for other people. He would have to say that he has written at least over a hundred songs. Being from the independent aspect he has done a lot more work and collaborations locally from a state to state point of view. With the independent label that he and his brother G3dagod have they have collabaroated with people such as GPK Party and K.O., T1NOLZ, Ladii Wiz, K.A.R., FiveFooter, SO New York just to name a few, but he is always open and willing to collaborate with anyone in the music industry.When on the stage or even in the booth his biggest supporters are his fiance Ladii Wiz, his brother G3DaGod, a lot of family, friends and fans who greatly support his music. At shows and events the type of audience he normally attracts is very diverse well rounded fan base. Since he isn't limited to one type of genre it makes it easier for new music lovers to connect with his style and sound.
The greatest advice that he has been given since he started on his journey in his music career he shares is to: "Always stay true to myself in the creative process of creating my music and never allowing anyone to sway my judgement." He takes his music career very seriously by consistently pumping out new music from his in home studio. He is in the studio more than he is on the road as of lately. But he also tries to do shows and get out as much as he possibly can.
In five years he sees himself doing more shows, being out on the road more, giving people and his fans the music that they love, and having the independent label grow and prosper in abundance.
