Charles aka CP Alx.Zndr is an award winning singer and songwriter from the Bronx, NY! But Brooklyn definitely has his heart too!An Artists passion is key so he shares that he considers himself a songwriter, singer and lastly a lyricist. He loves writing songs more than anything and it brings him joy to write for others and himself! He got into music from his performing arts junior school, the Harbor School of Performing Arts but his choir director: Diane Wilson, is the one who taught him how to write songs. 

He writes all his own music and he has collobrated with many Creatives such as his: Engineer Rezon of Dahitroom in Ridgewood, made the connection with Brooklyn Drill pioneer: Jezz Gasoline that has credits with other artists such as Bobby Shmurda and China Mac. His melodic flow and his aggressive cadence made for the perfect fusion of smooth but raw; the rest is history.

The name of his current single is “Friend Or Foe” featuring his homie; Brooklyn drill rapper: Jezz Gasoline. The inspiration for the album he shares honestly came from the producer: Anywaywell beats and Mario Winans. As soon as he heard the production he wrote the hook with the rhythm from Mario Winans’ “I don’t wanna know”. If you listen closely, you can hear the similarities 

Of course with his increasing popularity he has lost count of how many performances he’s had, BUT his most memorable performance was at the Barclay center for the post game show after the Nets vs the Oklahoma City Thunder played.  

Every Artist should have at least one well known Current Viral Artist, and that spot for him belongs to Mz.: Cardi B! He shares that they both are from the Bronx. Also, the songs she collabs with male singers on usually have a great vibe and he thinks their energy would be through the roof!

He’s certainly different from most Artists because others chase fame and money, but he’s one of those Artists that truly does it for the love of the ART. He would rather be behind the scenes creating the words for the song compared to performing it, even though he does enjoy being on the stage.


The Song Celebration Continues with him writing hooks and songs for other Artists, going on tour, creating more visuals, rebranding, getting more streams for his current and upcoming songs and working with Touch Music Group in his deal with them. So he will stay really busy!

NCC Records: Promotes Indy Artists

 

James “Mistajay” Genwright II majored in Business administration. But he wasn’t sure which direction to take his degree in but somehow his heart was strongly interested in: the Music.  

In the creation of making dreams come true, he and his team went through several different incarnations and mangers to gain control over their direction in music as a group. So his Inspiration to start NCC Records: North Carolina Commissioned Records was born from that desire but that was just the beginning. Okay so, what is NCC Records? It is a record and entertainment label that provides music services, writing features, sponsorship, promotion and distribution. The company is really aimed at promoting the success of their communities by sponsoring Indy Artists in music and film projects.

 

As the CEO of a very successful and ever growing company the ability to lead in certain situations is a major key component. It requires you to be a good listener willing to learn as well as intelligently delegate and remain inquisitive while staying on top of the newest trends in the industry. As we know life wouldn’t be as exciting without a couple challenges. But they are met with diligence and professionalism. There are times when decisions have to be made quickly, from deciding whether to keep with the newest sound or go in a different direction to finding who to work and network with that will be just as passionate about getting to the next level as you.

MAKE some noise for Forest Heights, Maryland’s own: Y'man Dog!!!! He’s from a town in Prince George County, Maryland, United States. It’s a part of the larger city of Oxon Hill, MD that’s iconic for the new National Harbor Conference Center and Resort.

He’s a songwriter and recording Artist who thinks of himself to be a “Lyrical-MC” He’s fluent with songwriting therefore he creates his own material; and from a lyricist’s perspective he’s excellent at painting pictures with words that build songs like an architect...so he’s pretty much both. 

He writes ALL of his lyrics and for this project he did collaborate with some dope talent to complete choruses and hooks on this album: @raythemoonchild (Resilience, Dog Eat Dog), @Blumondale (Tonight’s Tha Nite, So Into You), @__voyce (I Ain’t Lookin’) so check out the finished product!

The main reason he got into writing songs was due to his intolerance for messing up during freestyles. He also wanted to be able to remember hot lines and phrases afterwards so he opted to become a writer. As far as being inspired by another individual musically, he shares that the earlier albums of: 2Pac, Nas, T.R.U., WU-TANG Clan, Spice-1, U.G.K., Jay-Z, Redman, and Geto Boys inspired his lyrical inception.

Artists work hard on music daily but every now and they create song that really pushes their limits and undeniably, that nomination goes to: 'RESILIENCE' as his favorite song. 

The dedication and commitment to finishing this project made Y'man Dog super-selective about the instrumental chosen to marry the lyrics of this song.  He personally shares: “It's just that feeling you get as an Artist when you feel that you've superseded your expectations with track production. Shout out to @makaihbeats for the epic instrumental!” In getting hyped about his favorite track he had a few other tracks like 'WORTH', I AIN'T LOOKIN', and TONIGHT'S THA NITE he was passionate about too!

Many Artists start out with a grand dream but in the 30 to 40 performances and showcases part of that moment happened at his most memorable stage performance which took place in Mantanzas, Cuba at the 2018 Urban Hip-Hop Music Festival. 

The English translations of the tracks he performed may have been in English but the body language of head nods and dances mixed with cameras flashing with cheer verified that the vibes of Y'man Dog were accepted in the Cuban community with love and admiration. Anyone who does music has at least one Major Artist that inspires them but this genius mind has a few Artist like: Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, J. The his reason he chose these Artists he shares “is solely because of their reputations in executing phenomenal tracks/performances. Period.”

Born Marlon Jennings Jr. IS an American Hip Hop Artist from Stuttgart, Arkansas (Sugatown). He began his Hip Hop career at the age of thirteen. He became inspired by the likes of legendary rappers such as Scarface, 8 Ball & MJG, UGK, Outkast, and many more. Bo became a lyrical monster in his lyrical writing style. His track, Arkansas Sound, commanded the attention of Scarface of the Geto Boys and owner of the label FACEMOB MUSIC.  Arkansas Bo's baritone voice brings thunder to his brutally honest lyrics that always carry a conscious message. 

BO, has always written his own material. He collaborated with quite a few people, a couple are 607 and Mousequake. His favorite song he has written: is Black Lives Don’t Matter. He loves it because it’s true. He wanted to help bring awareness to police brutality as well as lift his community up. So, he and some other artists from Arkansas got together to bring out the message. Bo continues to amazes us with his latest album. He was inspired to create one of his most well-known songs Ubiquitous because he feels "the state of HIP HOP is slipping. He grew up on Hip Hop so he was taught to be proud of the culture. The women taught young girls that "black girls do rock" and now he feels like hip hop is lost on the current generation.

Dj King Klash: Next Level Mixes

DJ King Klash is from Ruff Raleigh, North Carolina! He owns his own mobile studio and also records dope videos as a videographer!

Great advice a friend gave him was to: “stop thinking so small minded by trying to put the city on and focus more on putting his state on.”

Background

His uncle is DJ Kraze. His uncle and father were born and raised in Bronx, New York during the birth of Hip Hop. His father used to tell him stories of how he and his brother Kraze used to DJ block parties with all the early Hip Hop stars.

As he (Dj Klash) was growing up watching BET and MTV he saw those stories were REALLY true. Also, his mom had a huge collection of tapes from multiple different genres of music, so he was pretty familiar with different genres of music at an early age.

She had everything from Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, to Tupac to, the Isley Brothers, the Ojay’s, Elton John, Madonna and plenty of R&B and oldies. But, Cash Money and No Limit is when he really started identifying with Hip Hop being from the south. That’s when he started writing his own rhymes at 13 years old.

DJ Career

He has always been influenced by music but he spent a lot of time nurturing other artists’ careers before he began Djing and producing himself in 2014.
He’s been Djing house parties for years but his first real performance came from being a tour DJ for a Hip Hop artist named Madison Jay from North Carolina. What he most remembers about it is that it was a great feeling and an honor because he (Madision) had a nice buzz and he didn’t really have to pull him in as a DJ because no one really knew him at the time.

He’s been produced by several local artists. He's DJed for Madison Jay, Zipz Street a.k.a. Perp Dakota, Marley Jesus, Tour Bus, TIME the Artist, Billz, P Mania, and BrassiousMonk.

But, his biggest supporters so far have been local artists especially Madison Jay, his Uncle DJ Kraze, the late great producer Hiram Glyphxxx and of course his girl friend. 

Reflections and New Heights

His most challenging moment has been finding other people that take the music industry as serious as he does. Also meeting others that are willing to make the sacrifices that he made.

One thing he would change in his life? He wouldn’t have gone to prison for 8 years. But he’s not really the type to regret because he believes that everything happens for a reason and that at a certain point in his life everything will add up. He’s been putting out good energy for a very long time and he has faith that good energy will come back.

His goals for the future are that he wants to be rich. He wants to be financially stable. He wants to own his own studio, label etc in the next few years and with his determination and tenacity he can bring his vision to life!

A future goal that she sees for her financial literacy business is to help one thousand new clients gain financial freedom by the end of 2018.

If she could work with any top name in the entertainment industry she would choose to work with Oprah because she views her as the most successful woman of all time!

Her name is Briana Barksdale, but she is known in the entertainment industry as First Ladii Briana B. She is originally from Greensboro, NC. But, she lived in Virginia for two years before relocating back to North Carolina to the states Capital: Raleigh, NC.

She attend several schools (A&T, Columbia School of Broadcasting and is currently studying Entertainment Business at the Los Angelo’s Film School) and during her time at the previous schools she majored in business, media and broadcast. It has always been her passion to help others achieve their goals or to motivate them to be “One Day closer to their Dreams”. She very blessed to be working every day in her field of work and changing the financial lives of all people daily!

Her mother inspired her to start her own company. In growing up her mother was an entrepreneur and she always had several side hustles. Her daughter studied her tactics, and it inspired her to want to grow and achieve all that she could during her life. In learning from her mother she has ventured into several entrepreneur businesses, maintains an established Credit Consulting franchise, and specializes in Credit Restoration and Financial Literacy. She also owns a multi production and PR business known as: First Ladii Productions.

Life with The Company 

As a CEO, the qualities she feel are most valuable are: leadership, tenacity, perseverance, and also confidence.

Her credit restoration franchise offers services that mentor in the field and financial literacy services to help repair and retain all things financially related.

The biggest challenge she had to overcome when starting her business was the ability to overcome after failure and/or denial. In her position she had to juggle so many companies and tasks are sometimes difficult but in situations of that nature you have to reorganize your priorities.

Success is always around the corner! The contribution she made to her community through her success is of great importance. She was recently recognized by her partner company in reaching milestones in her credit literacy program. She also hosted a red carpet event with her production company that sponsors individuals with epilepsy.

The CEO Boss Ladies that she admires are Issa Rae, and Beyonce. She admires Beyonce because she has been consistent in her business ventures. She admires Issa Rae because she created a similar platform as her and her success is something that she models.

Barksdale shares that she has plenty of talents.  One of which is being a mother. She’s a mother of a two year old lol. In addition, she writes and produces a radio show as well as a talk show called: Goal Diggers. The show features and highlights individuals successfully chasing their dreams.

An inspiration to many what separates him from other Artists is his personal story. Due to a medical mistake, he was born with cerebral palsy. He was told that because of his condition, he would be unable to walk, talk, or perform many essential tasks relative to daily living, without assistance. But thanks to the power of prayer, help from his family, and belief in himself, he was able to not only live normal life, but do amazing things. He wants people to feel like they can also overcome adversity. For that reason, he uses his music career to inspire.

Plus Size Modeling In NC

Jonice Cromartie is from Fayetteville NC. She loves her family. They are the ones that inspired her to be serious about her modeling career. She has been in numerous fashion shows. She started as a model performing in hair shows. Yet, the hair shows she enjoyed the most because they were different and exciting! The hairstylists and designers would see her on the runway and ask her to be in their shows. She doesn't just enjoy modeling but she also likes to sing and dance too. 

 

She received a lot of her professional training from John Casablanca, the modeling school in Raleigh NC. But she also believed that modeling has always been a gift that was given to her by God. So, she already knew how to walk and pose long before she went to school. But, while in school she accomplished a lot and received the award for best runway in class. 

In her free time she reflected on her experiences and if asked to share any words of wisdom the advice she would give to any other model is to "never give up on your dreams and go for what you love to do." 

As the fashion industry transforms she also shares her opinion saying that if she could change anything in the fashion world she would change how BBW Models are treated in the industry. If she were ever to be a designer she says she would use plus models more on the runway. 

She has plenty of experiene being on the runway but if she could improve on any area as a model it would be learning how to apply her own makeup for runway and fashion shows.

If she could work with any Supermodel it would be Naomi Campbell she states excitedly! When asked why that particular model she responses with "because she has class, attitude and confidence on the runway like me."
