Thunder for Lyrics: Arkansas Bo

 Arkansas Bo

"I speak the truth and the truth is not always pretty. People will tell you how you need to change and follow the crowd, as for Arkansas Bo, I stand out because I am Arkansas Bo, the lyricist."

Thunder for Lyrics...

Born Marlon Jennings Jr. IS an American Hip Hop Artist from Stuttgart, Arkansas (Sugatown). He began his Hip Hop career at the age of thirteen. He became inspired by the likes of legendary rappers such as Scarface, 8 Ball & MJG, UGK, Outkast, and many more. Bo became a lyrical monster in his lyrical writing style. His track, Arkansas Sound, commanded the attention of Scarface of the Geto Boys and owner of the label FACEMOB MUSIC.  Arkansas Bo's baritone voice brings thunder to his brutally honest lyrics that always carry a conscious message.

BO, has always written his own material. He collaborated with quite a few people, a couple are 607 and Mousequake. Together they are always dope. People don't know that he has always been the type to express himself in the arts. He majored in art and sculpturing in college. He also writes poetry and he began transforming his art of poetry into the art of Hip Hop music. He was inspired by the likes of legendary rappers such as Scarface, 8 Ball & MJG, UGK, Outkast, and He has opened for many Hip Hop legends including:Paul Wall, Lil Boosie, Bunn B, Big Krit, Fat Joe, Tela, Devin the Dude, Scarface, Webbie, 8 Ball & MJG, and more. He also did major collaborations with Devin the Dude (Rap-A-Lot), Mr. Serve-On (No Limit), and featured on Multi-Platinum Producer, Keith Clizark's Still Burnin 2 mixtape. He makes it a point with other Arkansas Artists such as; D-Dirt, Touda, and a special collaboration with E Dubb on the conscious project: Black Lives Don't Matter.

His favorite song he has written: is Black Lives Don’t Matter. He loves it because it’s true. He wanted to help bring awareness to police brutality as well as lift his community up. So, he and some other artists from Arkansas got together to bring out the message. Bo continues to amazes us with his latest album. He was inspired to create one of his most well-known songs Ubiquitous because he feels "the state of HIP HOP is slipping. He grew up on Hip Hop so he was taught to be proud of the culture. The women taught young girls that "black girls do rock" and now he feels like hip hop is lost on the current generation

See Into the Future

Currently Bo is working on his next project. He has a show in Dallas, TX in June of this year. He will be performing live at Club RBC Deep Ellum.  While he is performing all over the United States he also had time to write his next album :Tide (Tired) of this Shit, and he's getting ready to go into the studio to record. He and his team continue to promote his current singles, Man of the Year, Man Say, Livin’ A Lie, Ubiquitous, and Thick Wit It (ft Devin the Dude).

Miami Beach Bikini Model

Bikni Model
Mekiya Raphael a.k.a MzBerryy

Her first modeling experience was at the age of 14. Her first bikini modeling experience was at the age of 21. It was for a runway show for a local boutique in Miami.

Her inspiration to model came from her aunt. She encouraged and promoted confidence in her life to model and reassured her that she would be great. She has been in over 20 runway shows but she must say 2017 Miami Swim Week was the best by far. She did a huge runway show at the W Hotel on Miami Beach and it was such a beautiful experience.

One challenge that she had to overcome as a model was being a teen mom. It is still difficult due to her traveling a lot, but thankfully she has a supportive family.

The other creative talents that she has are Photography, and Editing. She did not go to school for this. It is a natural talent. She has a creative eye although she has learned a lot from photographers that she’s worked with.

Her advice to up to upcoming models:
“You do not have to be naked on social networks to be a successful model. Do your research and homework on the industry and use your uniqueness to stand out and you will go far…”

If there is one thing she could change about the modeling industry it would be the negative stereotype associated with models being seemingly "unintelligent and promiscuous." The point is modeling is expanding and this just does not apply to most models anymore.

If she could model or do a photo-shoot with any Top Model in the world it would be: Draya Michelle. She is her inspiration to be great in the modeling industry, expand to acting and ultimately evolve into her own business owner.

Events coming up
She is currently traveling with The International Auto Show representing Genesis. This summer she will be in Miami Swim week once again. She is also taking acting classes so look out for her in future Films and TV shows!

Maria Brenda: From Modeling toTV.

Maria Brenda from Chicago...

Modeled in her early 20’s. At 5’4” she discovered that she is actually really good at modeling. she just wished that she was a little taller to be considered in the runway division.

Her most memorable fashion show was the Paul Mitchell Hair Show. During that time because of her look she was selected to do the runway show even though she wasn’t tall enough for it. That was the first time they had a shorter model doing the runway. They had to hem the outfit. But, the best part was the man himself did her hairstyle. It was an honor to her.

She started acting when she was a little girl. She was in theater and drama in high school. She did her modeling and acting in her early 20’s but mostly modeling then she decided to have a family and from there she focused on her family and stopped acting for a while.

About 5 years ago, she started pursuing her acting again. She took some acting classes to refresh her skills. She was lucky enough to get some acting gigs to build her resume. The major role she played was as the Asian boss (Shanghi) for the series, “NO Chiraq”  on INTV. She is also the voice of the network.

In playing that part she became inspired and she started Zatori Productions and team up with some talented and creative partners. This is a new venture for her and she is ready for the challenges that come with it. So, what motivated her to start the company was for the love of the industry.  They are a media production company specializing in Film, TV, Web, Commercial, Industrial, Sports, and Special Events. She feels lucky to have such talented and creative partners.

The biggest challenge for her in the industry is that, “people judge you for your look  and what you put on social media and think that’s who you are as a person. They don’t know who you are in real life.” She has learned overtime to ignore it. It doesn’t do her any good.

Advice She Would GIVE
to those individuals starting their own company is “to do your research first.” Ask yourself “What’s your goal in opening this business? Is  this something that you wanted to do? Is this a long term business? Is this profitable? She believes that if someone wants to open a business, that they should make sure that they will see themself being there for the longest haul. There is a lot of things to do in opening your own company. Research, research, research is the key.

I have a very supportive family. They think it’s cool that I’m following my passion and my dreams. They are my biggest fan.

Her biggest venture is the TV series is she working on is called “The Unlimited Lives of Gwen Salden” it is a story of a woman that suddenly finds herself time traveling in her sleep and living different lives in different realities. She has to figure out who she is and why certain things are happening to her.  The character has to figure out if everything she is going through: Is real or if she is just insane? Ms. Brenda loves sci-fi so she asked her talented write and good friend which is now one of the business partners’, to write her a sci-fi series.  They just got done filming the trailer for the investors. Her plan for the series is to get some funding for the pilot and build name recognition, then she will present it to reputable TV networks, nationally and or internationally.  “The Unlimited Lives of Gwen Salden” will appeal to both young and adult audiences. Fans of sci-fi, horror, suspense, comedy, drama, action will enjoy the series.

Model Life: "The Stoop Sessions: Part 1"

Her name is Saliyah Itoka. She was born and raised in Queens, NY but is currently living in Albany, NY.
She's been singing since she was really little. But she didn't start taking her music career seriously until January 2015 when she also started modeling.

She's been writing since she was 11 years old. Her creative passions come from working with other artists, sharing in their positive energy and learning from them. She has collaborated with other singers and rappers on her project and is very excited to hear the results. Her current project is in the works and the name that she's chosen for it is "The Stoop Sessions: Part I". She's inspired by singers from the 90's such as Aaliyah, Chris Brown, BeyoncĂ©, Toni Braxton, Anita Baker, Tank, Rihanna, Brandy, Whitney Houston, Drake, and The Weeknd. In full light she wanted to create a project that represented her on all levels.
One of her favorite songs on her new project is called "Loving You". It has a Tevin Campbell sample and has that feel good vibe that she loves about R&B.
She's done 8 shows since she started her music career. But her most memorable experience as an Artist was her very first showcase because it was the first time she had ever performed her original music. She was nervous but it felt good knowing that people really liked what they heard. As a model she performed at the February 2015 Atlantic City Fashion Week. It gave her that boost of confidence that she needed to confirm that she was runway model material.

Future Events of Music and Modeling

Right now, her debut project is in the works. She is working really hard to complete it and make it perfect. In her modeling career, she just finished a show during NYFW and she's just grinding and pushing for the next show and next casting. As far as the future she just wants to continue to pursue what she loves to do and prove her doubters wrong.
